In May 2006, the Connecticut legislature passed an aggressive 30% tax credit program to attract film production to Connecticut. Since that time Connecticut has been home to three productions that collectively have purchased over 10,000 hotel rooms. This means that the Connecticut Lodging Association has become the central lodging resource for film producers.
Hoteliers listed on the CLA site can share in the economic benefits derived from an increase in film production by filling out a form describing the film friendly attributes of your facility. Producers can easily identify appropriate facilities by the film clapper icon that will be added next to your name on the site. The icon will link directly to the information you provided. Please take the time to promote your facility as a film friendly establishment by filling out the application form.
